We are Jake + Jess, the photographers behind Kampphotography. We have been part of this wedding photography adventure for the past 14 years, and still absolutely love our clients, and that we get to call this awesome adventure our job. While we personally struggle to describe our style, it has been described by others as modern, different, dynamic, and photojournalistic. Our biggest compliment from every couple, is how relaxed, helpful, and stress free we make every wedding we photograph. Across the years, Kampphotography was twice named by Wedding Bells Magazine as one of Canada’s Top 30 most inspiring photographers, and is the proud winner of the 2020 Consumer Choice Award for Photography. Kamp has also had worked published on some of the top wedding blogs ( Martha Stewart Weddings , Style Me Pretty , Green Wedding Shoes , Rock N’ Roll Bride , the Etsy Blog , etc,) and has had worked printed in the National Post, as well as international magazines. Every wedding we photograph, we strive to find the small moments that people miss, and absolutely love when our couples get to see their amazing wedding day from an outside perspective. The wedding day flows by so fast, being able to freeze those moments, big, small, the smiles, the tears, and the joy, helps fill our hearts, and reminds us why marrying your best friend, is one of the most amazing moments in your life. We are located out in the middle of Canada, and call the beautiful Manitoba countryside home. We have been so very fortunate to photograph weddings all across the world, but our favourite is capturing weddings in the place we call home.
